Food & Drink: Raise a Glass

HARVEST FIG BOURBON
AT HARVEST SEASONAL GRILL,

MOORESTOWN
As if whiskey isn’t warming enough, the flavors from this cocktail make the winter freeze just a bit more bearable. It starts with Basil Hayden small batch bourbon, then gets mixed with a rich fig jam, organic agave and a dash of bright, floral orange bitters to create a blend of sweet, smoky and rich.

BOURBON BERRY BRAMBLE (pictured)
AT SEASONS 52,

CHERRY HILL
This fruity concoction starts with Maker’s Mark bourbon, then adds a splash of St. Germain elderflower liqueur, all finished with fresh raspberries, blackberries and lime. The fresh berries truly make the drink, adding just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the Maker’s Mark.

How it’s made:
2 Fresh Blackberries
2 Fresh
Raspberries
1oz Simple Syrup
1oz Sun Orchard Lime
1 1/2 oz Maker's Mark Bourbon Whiskey
1/2 oz St. Germain
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Splash of Club Soda

WARD 8
AT CINDERBAR,

CLARKSBORO
Locally made Rittenhouse Rye whiskey forms the base of a classic, simple cocktail featuring fresh lemon and orange and a splash of grenadine. The spice of the rye meets the sugary grenadine and sour citrus in a sip that is strong and mighty.
