1 Dead, 1 Injured After Hit By Vehicle

A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in Pennsauken on Tuesday night.

It happened on Route 38 near Strand Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

One person died at the scene. Police say the car also struck a second person. No word on that victim’s condition at this time.

Authorities say the driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
